They are appointed in writing by the client (commercial or domestic) to plan, manage, monitor and coordinate health and safety during this phase.

Well that’s the official description, what we think the Principal Contractor title is about, is having only one management structure on site, or in plain English “just one Boss”

We have been involved in many projects that do not take this approach and its soon obvious that to many cooks spoil the broth, so when we do a connection to say a domestic housing project we will also arrange the new wiring installation of that new property as well as all the testing and registration of said property, this can save the site manager many hours of work and will in the end save money.

One example is when we were asked to do a new HV supply into an industrial warehouse which we gladly undertook, but then the owner asked us if we had anyone who could do the LV side of the installation, yes, we can, was our reply.
This saved this client a lot of work and money and if the client has anything they are worried about they only have one person to contact “The Principal Contractor”.

Shown below are just some of the items you must think about on site, with our management system and our Health and Safety Procedures, which include full passport registration, we are ideally placed to make sure your site is both safe and has contractors who are competent and trained to the correct level.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”516″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_shadow_border”][vc_column_text]
